Update 6: Flooding Palumpa

The community is experiencing localised flooding and is currently isolated, with no road access.
Palumpa was fully evacuated to Darwin, where residents are accommodated at Marrara Indoor Stadium.
School
Nganmarriyanga School will remain closed until the community is repatriated.
Students from Nganmarriyanga School are attending pop-up schools in Darwin and Palmerston.

Boil water alert
NT Health has issued a boil water alert for Palumpa. Use cooled boiled water or bottled water for:
- drinking
- preparing food
- preparing baby formula
- brushing teeth.
