During a flood

If you plan to stay in your home during a flood you should:

• keep listening to your radio for official advice
• follow your emergency household plan
• remain in a safe part of the home
• contact family members who are away from home and tell them to return only when safe
• keep in touch with neighbours and help them if needed.
