The Tiwi Islands, Daly River Mouth to Warruwi, and inland to Batchelor. This includes Darwin, Cobourg Peninsula, Minjilang and Gunbalanya, and also Pirlangimpi, Milikapiti and Wurrumiyanga.

Cyclone Fina is approaching the Territory coast and people need to be ready.

Residents of Minjilang, Warruwi and the Tiwi Islands need to be in shelter this evening, and stay there until you are told it is safe.

Residents of Darwin can expect to be directed to take shelter on Saturday as conditions deteriorate.

Please activate your household cyclone plans.

Many shops and services, including major supermarkets will be closed on Saturday.

Darwin buses will not be running on Saturday.

Please avoid unnecessary travel and be prepared to stay at home.

An emergency call centre has been activated to provide information to the public regarding Tropical Cyclone Fina.
