Update 11: Tropical Cyclone Fina
The Northern Territory has activated its response to Tropical Cyclone Fina to ensure communities are informed and prepared.

Schools
The NT Government Department of Education and Training is working to ensure all government schools are open tomorrow Monday 24 November.
Where there is no power or the school has significant damage, it will not be open until the school is safe. Schools will contact families directly.
The department is currently contacting early child services and non-government schools to determine the status of their operations tomorrow.
Hospitals
The Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospitals remain operational, as do the medical centres on the Tiwi Islands.
We need time to complete assessments and make repairs.
Routine visitors will be welcomed back once facilities are confirmed safe.
Roads update
Many roads remain unsafe, with fallen trees, power lines down and debris across the network.
Emergency crews are working hard to restore essential services.
For your safety and theirs, please stay off the roads unless travel is absolutely essential.
