Financial help

People impacted by the March 2026 floods and cyclone in the Northern Territory can apply for immediate payments and longer-term financial help.

The Australian and Northern Territory Governments provide financial assistance to support people impacted by disasters.

Support may include immediate relief payments, temporary accommodation assistance and re-establishment grants under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA),  the Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment (AGDRP) and the Disaster Recovery Allowance.
